Cholesterol is something we hear about all the time, but usually none of the news is good. The fact is, we really need cholesterol. It's responsible for the way our bodies digest fats, create cell structures and make hormones.

And, besides the cholesterol we may get from our diets, we produce up to 1000 mg of cholesterol a day!

The important thing is what kind of cholesterol we have. Cholesterol moves through the bloodstream carried by lipoproteins. Classified by their density, these carriers are known as LDL (low-density lipoproteins) and HDL (high-density lipoproteins). Typically, the LDL is known as "bad" cholesterol, and the HDL is known as "good" cholesterol.

Dr. Goodman's Research = No Guesswork
Dennis Goodman, MD, FACC, and Chief of Cardiology and Medical Director of the Cardiac Treatment Center at Scripps Howard Memorial Hospital from 2002-2005 developed HDL Booster® for his patients to increase their good (HDL) cholesterol naturally.†

Dr. Goodman's research began after his patients asked about herbs, vitamins and other nutrients that could support heart health. For four years, he studied the topic, perfecting this formula. HDL Booster® is the result. With so many good ingredients in one formula, it takes the guesswork out of supporting a healthy heart.†

This clinically-tested combination includes:

  • Vitamin C
Not just for supporting the immune system anymore, this common antioxidant provides protection for the lining of arteries, and supports the increase of HDL cholesterol levels.†
  • Vitamin E
This antioxidant inhibits the oxidation (think rust) of LDL cholesterol.†
  • Niacin
Supports normal cholesterol production, and increases good cholesterol.†
  • CoQ10
Supplementation of this nutrient significantly improves good cholesterol levels, and supports healthy circulation.†
  • Garlic
This traditional, heart-friendly ingredient has been clinically shown to increase good cholesterol levels.†
  • Grape Seed Extract
This free-radical scavenger promotes healthy circulation and increases healthy cholesterol levels.†
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid
Helps maintain healthy blood flow and healthy heart contraction.† ALA also recycles important antioxidants, like vitamins C and E and CoQ10 - making sure your heart gets the most from them.†
  • Hawthorn Berry Extract
Supports the muscle strength of the heart, helping maintain healthy heart rhythm.†

Small Changes, Big Differences
What you might not know, is that even a 1% increase in good (HDL) cholesterol can make a huge difference in our health.† In a clinical study approved by the Scripps Independent Review Board, HDL Booster increased good cholesterol levels up to 23% after just 6 months of use.†

It Does More than Boost HDL Levels†
HDL Booster also provides powerful antioxidants, and the CoQ10 in the formula helps restore the CoQ10 depleted by cholesterol medications like Zocor®, Mevacor® and Lipitor.®†**

Know Your Numbers
If you don't know your cholesterol numbers, make sure you find out. Get them checked, and ask for both LDL and HDL counts, not just the total number. If you'd like to support healthy cholesterol levels already within normal limits and give your good cholesterol a boost, consider HDL Booster®†!
