How Does It Work?
Despite residing in very diverse environments, all humans harbor the same strains of commensal microflora.1 Researchers estimate that between 5,000 to 10,000 species of bacteria and fungi are continuously present on skin surfaces, inside the oral cavity (mouth, gums, teeth, tongue, and throat), and within the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.2 While microorganisms are often associated with negative influences on health, beneficial microflora perform vital functions that are essential to human survival.3 One of their most important tasks is the stabilization of yeast, microorganisms found primarily in the oral cavity, gastrointestinal tract, and perineal tissues.4,5
On-going research has found that the gut microflora Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum support healthy yeast balance.5, 6 Several factors are known to affect gut microflora stability, including consumption of large amounts of sugar, a diet high in refined carbohydrates, low fiber intakes, environmental or food sensitivities, and increased emotional or social stressors.7, 8
Comprehensive internal cleansing programs support the healthy balance of commensal bacteria and fungi. Certain herbal extracts have been shown to support healthy yeast growth on the skin and within the GI tract, oral cavity, and perineal tissues.9 Supplements containing soluble and insoluble fibers help balance/absorb yeast organisms via the digestive system and evacuation of stool.10 Probiotic supplements restore microflora balance in the gut.11, 12
The following tables outline the 10-day, 2-phase, evidence-based Whole Body Yeast Balance program:
Days 1 through 5 Support Healthy Yeast Growth |
| Ingredients | Directions | Benefits |
Yeast Balance
herbal blend:
Oregano
Thyme
Peppermint
Goldenseal | Two softgel capsules daily. | Research has demonstrated that oregano (Origanum vulgare) oil extract has high levels of total antioxidants and supports healthy balance of human microflora.13-17
Thyme extracts support healthy neutrophil (white blood cell) production.18 Recent clinical studies found thyme to be well-tolerated and effective in the support of healthy yeast balance.19-21
The medicinal use of peppermint dates back to ancient Greece.22 Clinical studies have repeatedly demonstrated peppermint oil's efficacy in supporting GI tract health.23-25
Goldenseal alkaloids support healthy immune responses.26, 27
The unique combination of essential oils found in Yeast Balance has been scientifically shown to yield a 70% improvement in 2 hours. |
Fiber Fusion
daily cleansing fiber:
Psyllium husk
Oat bran
Guar gum
Pectin
Marshmallow | Four capsules daily. | The all-natural fibers and herbs in Fiber Fusion safely absorb and eliminate toxins, while the True Dispersion Technology ensures that the fibers are completely released for thorough colon cleansing.
Psyllium is a superior detoxification and laxation fiber; it also supports cardiovascular, endocrine, and immune health, additional health benefits that other detoxification fibers lack.28-31
Oat bran, guar gum, pectin, and marshmallow support small intestine health and healthy blood glucose and lipid levels already within the normal ranges.32, 43
Fiber Fusion's proprietary blend of clinically validated fibers provides effective detoxification and internal balance. |
Based on laboratory tests comparing Yeast Balance to a positive control after a two hour pre-incubation.
Days 6 through 10
Replenish and Restore Intestinal Health |
| Ingredients | Directions | Benefits |
Acidophilus Pearls
active cultures:
L. acidophilus
B. longum | Two capsules daily. | Probiotic supplements containing Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum help stimulate development of certain immune system compounds and help retain healthy levels of yeast.35, 36 |
Fiber Fusion
Psyllium husk
Oat bran
Guar gum
Pectin
Marshmallow | Four capsules daily. | Intestinal flora ferment psyllium into short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) supporting intestinal wall health, restoration, and repair.37, 38 |
Conclusion
Whole Body Yeast Balance is a comprehensive internal cleansing and balance restoration program for the support of healthy dermal, oral, perineal, and intestinal microflora.
The herbal extracts and probiotic organisms in the three Whole Body Yeast Balance formulas have well-established safety profiles and clinically demonstrated effectiveness in supporting healthy yeast growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who needs to worry about supporting healthy yeast balance?
Generally, women age 25-45 have the greatest concern about supporting healthy yeast balance; however, men are affected by this issue as well.†
Having said that, anyone looking for a natural, systemic cleanse to support healthy yeast balance may be interested in Whole Body Yeast Balance. The cleanse takes 10 days, but building good health takes time.
I have sugar cravings—can Whole Body Yeast Balance help?
It may. Some experts believe that yeast balance issues may lead to over-consumption of refined sugars and carbohydrates, which simply compounds the issue. By balancing yeast, along with regular exercise and a healthy diet, you may find those cravings reduced—with the added potential benefit of weight loss as well.†
Can I use Whole Body Yeast Balance at the same time as Whole Body Cleanse™† internal cleansing system†?
It’s best to use one cleanse at a time. However, for a full “tune-up” so to speak, you might consider following this cleanse with Complete Liver Cleanse† liver cleanse system†, and then Whole Body Cleanse™† internal cleansing system† for overall detoxification support.†
Are there any dietary restrictions that should be followed while using Whole Body Yeast Balance?
It is particularly important to minimize sugar intake when using Whole Body Yeast Balance. As a general recommendation during any cleanse, we also suggest avoiding foods known to be problematic for some people, including wheat, peanuts, soy, shellfish, and dairy products, and concentrating on increasing intake of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein. We also recommend eliminating caffeine during a cleanse simply because this is a time to focus on improved health.
It is also important to drink at least 64 ounces of bottled or filtered water every day while cleansing. However, with the possible exception of minimizing sugar intake, there are no foods that are absolutely contraindicated while using Whole Body Yeast Balance.
