"What is up with taking twelve tablets daily? If anyone is taking other supplements or medications, that is just total overload! I think maybe it is time to rethink your formula!

"Our expiration dates are based on stability data, showing the product maintains label claims and all aspects of quality within that time frame. While the passing of the best by date will not have a significant effect on potency or bioavailability, product efficacy may decline over time.

In order to ensure safety and efficacy as well as to lessen the potential for interaction, prescription medications and dietary supplements should be taken as directed on the label or by your healthcare practitioner. Interactions and side effects vary from person to person, but in general, the potential for interactions is greater when combining multiple medications as opposed to dietary supplements. If there is a known, documented interaction between a supplement and a prescription medication, a cautionary statement will be included the label.

However, because the potential for interactions between all dietary supplements and prescription medications has not been fully investigated, we recommend that you discuss any changes to your supplemental regimen with either the prescribing physician or with your pharmacist. He or she will have a more complete knowledge of your health history and will be able to help you determine if the product can be added to your overall wellness plan, or whether a potential interaction may limit its use.

There are several drug-herb databases available to help you and your physician make this determination. One reputable source is Medline Plus, a service of the United States National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginformation.html). Please keep in mind that the information provided on this and other such databases is constantly evolving as more information becomes available. It is important to work closely with your physician to continually monitor your supplemental regimen.
