Recently, the administration of vitamin E and CoQ10 has been studied. Research has demonstrated that CoQ10 can improve vitamin E’s antioxidant function and protect it from depletion. Both forms of Smart Q10^™ CoQ10 have been clinically studied and shown to provide safe and effective support for neurological, cardiovascular, and immune health.† We have this product available in different flavors, with and without vitamin E, to suit the needs of all our customers.

Although it exists in some dietary sources, it may not be realistic to obtain CoQ10 through food alone. For example, it would take 1 pound of sardines, 2 pounds of beef, or 2-1/2 pounds of peanuts to equal 30mg of supplemental CoQ10.

Smart Q10^™ CoQ10 contains only the natural form of coenzyme Q10. Natural CoQ10 is produced through a "biological fermentation/extraction process" and is identical to the form produced in the human body. Coenzyme Q10 can also be synthesized by a chemical process, which yields a similar, but distinctly different chemical structure than that found in the natural form. The bioavailability of synthetic CoQ10 has not been confirmed.

CoQ10 is a large, fat-soluble molecule. When CoQ10 is manufactured with a special mixture of vegetable fatty acids, it allows the molecule to change shape and become more flexible.
