Overview
Why are pancreatic enzymes, herbs, and vitamins helpful for exercise recovery?
They support the health of tendons, cartilage, and connective tissue.†
Clinical research shows supplementation with a pancreatic enzyme combination can help reduce the muscle pain associated with exercise and overuse.† In fact, bromelain - an enzyme from pineapple - has been shown to block compounds involved in the body's inflammatory response.†
Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a perennial shrub native to southern Asia with a long history of use as both a food ingredient and health-supportive agent.† A powerful antioxidant, turmeric reduces occasional muscle pain by supporting the body's natural anti-inflammatory response.†
Vitamin C supports strength and integrity of collagen.†
Why use Curazyme?
It includes the essential nutrients the body needs to deal with physical exertion.†
Curazyme provides antioxidants for the protection of connective tissues and tendons, components to support the body's natural anti-inflammatory response, and nutrients clinically shown to reduce occasional muscle pain and stiffness associated with exercise.†

Frequently Asked Questions
Why have the units and amount for bromelain on product labels changed?
Our products were originally formulated with bromelain activity measured in milk clotting units (M.C.U.) However, in recent years, G.D.U., or gelatin digesting units, activity has become the standard in the industry. At the same time we began measuring in G.D.U. activity we also switched to a more potent source of bromelain that yields the same benefits. Because it is more potent less is required. The new formulation is equal in potency and quality to the original. No change in product efficacy is expected.
