How Does It Work?
Both DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) and 7-keto DHEA are associated with a variety of essential human functions, most notably immune system support and memory enhancement.
† In the body, DHEA can convert into various metabolites, including 7-keto DHEA and steroid hormones, such as testosterone or the estrogens (estrone and estradiol).
7 7-keto DHEA, on the other hand,
does not convert to active testosterone and/or estrogen in the body.

Research has shown that 7-keto DHEA increases thermogenic enzyme activity, which is associated with heat generation.† An increase in thermogenic activity may enhance the body's basal metabolic rate, helping to promote weight loss without requiring significant alterations to caloric intake or activity levels.†5,8-10 Additionally, 7-keto DHEA has been shown to support healthy thyroid function.† 11 The thyroid gland, which plays a permissive role in adaptive heat production, is also intricately involved in maintaining optimal metabolic rate.12,13
An eight-week clinical trial found that supplementation with 7-keto DHEA (200 mg/day), in conjunction with diet and exercise, significantly reduced both body weight and body fat.† 7-keto DHEA also supported healthy thyroid hormone (triiodothyronine or T3) levels, which may affect basal metabolic rate, further enhancing weight loss.†11

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time to take Naturalean† with 7-Keto® . During the morning, day, or at night? With food, on an empty stomach, or with a lot of water? Before exercising, during, or after?
Generally, we would recommend taking this product during the morning and afternoon, preferably before exercising. Although Naturalean† with 7-Keto® is not a stimulant, we feel it is better to avoid taking this product at night as it contains herbs to support fluid balance that are best used in the daytime. Additionally, metabolism tends to be more active in the daytime. Some people may experience mild gastrointestinal upset, in which case we suggest taking Naturalean† with 7-Keto®with food. However, this is a personal preference.
How doesNaturalean† with 7-Keto® work?
Naturalean† with 7-Keto® has been clinically studied to promote healthy weight loss when used in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise.† While its exact effects are not fully understood, Naturalean† with 7-Keto® is thought to work by enhancing thyroid hormone (triiodothyronine, T3) levels and by increasing the activity of three fat burning (thermogenic) enzymes.†An increase in thermogenic enzyme activity can enhance the body’s metabolic rate to promote weight loss.†
What's the difference between 7-Keto DHEA and DHEA?
DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is a steroid hormone produced by the adrenal glands, which plays a role in healthy aging, immune function, and memory.† In the body, DHEA can form sex hormones (estrogen and testosterone) and 7-Keto DHEA. 7-Keto DHEA has many of the same benefits of DHEA, but does not convert to sex hormones.† 7-Keto DHEA is safe and well tolerated.
At what age can I take Naturalean† with 7-Keto®?
Naturalean† with 7-Keto® has only been clinically tested in adults. Because 7-Keto production in the body begins to decline in your late 20’s, Naturalean† with 7-Keto® is most beneficial in individuals 25 years of age and older.

Yes, you can safely take Naturalean† with 7-Keto® with Metabolic AdvantageTM Thyroid Formula†. However, individuals who are sensitive to L-tyrosine should consider reducing the dosage of one or both products (e.g., one capsule of Naturalean† with 7-Keto® daily or two servings of Metabolic Advantage daily).
Will I gain weight after I stop taking Naturalean† with 7-Keto®?

Does 7-Keto raise levels of DHEA in the body?
7- Keto DHEA is irreversibly metabolized from DHEA, and it will not convert to DHEA. Therefore, 7-Keto does not raise blood levels of DHEA in the body.
