DigestRight® is a comprehensive enzyme supplement formulated for children by leading physicians in child neurological development.† Researchers have found a link between healthy digestion and behavior in children. DigestRight provides isomaltase activity which is critical for complete carbohydrate digestion supporting healthy development and mental function in children.†

Directions:

Take 1 or 2 capsules with each meal or snack or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Average serving is 1 capsule at beginning of meals. A second capsule may be taken near the middle of the meal.

If desired, capsules may be opened and contents mixed into a small quantity of cold food. Follow immediately with untreated food.

Why is DPP IV activity important?

Dipeptidyl peptidase IV or DPP IV is an enzyme that is important to the digestion of gliadin peptides.^†DPP IV is involved in the degradation of components such as gliadin, one of the main proteins found in gluten, and casein, a key milk protein, and in modulation of the immune response.^† The addition of DPP IV may speed digestion of the components of hidden gluten or casein.^†

At what age can DigestRight^®† be taken?

The Learner's Edge line of products was developed to meet the nutritional needs of school-aged children (five years of age or older).† While we know of no specific contraindications against the use of DigestRight^®† in younger children, the product has not been tested in this sub-set. Therefore, we urge parents interested in giving DigestRight^®† to younger children to discuss it with the child's physician prior to use.
